Benefits for the Small Business

September 10, 2014 By EDC

Hosted by Clifton Larson Allen

Tuesday, September 23, 2014
Medina, Minnesota
8 – 10:30 a.m.

Please join our panel of benefits experts in learning how to stay on top of your responsibilities as a plan sponsor in your fiduciary role while keeping the future retirement and health benefits of your employees safe.

When it comes to selecting and managing employee benefits, there is certainly plenty weighing on your mind — such as attracting and retaining key employees, the rising costs of qualified benefit plans, reducing regulatory risk, maximizing return on investment, maintaining a competitive advantage, selecting and monitoring the right service providers and investment options, the Affordable Care Act, and educating employees on plan choices and motivating them to participate.

Strong compensation and benefits packages attract superior candidates, and help retain employees. The key is to strengthen the benefits package you provide employees while reducing your regulatory risk. Balancing the cost is more of an art than formula. Fully understanding the penalties as well as the opportunities allows you to develop a strategic approach to your benefits.
