Fitzgerald graduated in 2022 from the Carlson School of Management with a Master for Business Administration degree. Shannon brings an impressive array of leadership and collaborative skills to the ETBP including 15+ years of experience leading organizations through quick growth and significant change. She served as Project Lead for the Chameleon Consortium of the MDC for one year alongside Collison and prior to that was the Managing Director for Theater Mu for six years, a professional, nonprofit theater company serving the Asian American community in the Twin Cities.

Jessy Countney, Administrative Manager
Jessy Countney received a Master’s in Urban Planning with a concentration in Land Use & Placemaking from the Humphrey School of Public Affairs in 2021. Jessy also has 3+ years of retail management skills and has worked closely with local initiatives, such as Green Neighbor Challenge and Metropolitan Council, to support advocacy for green energy systems. She maintains ambitious goals of implementing transformative action in areas of environmental justice, community agency, and urban vitality.

Christie Rock Hantge, Executive Coordinator
Christie Rock Hantge has been working as the executive coordinator for the East Town Business Partnership (formerly the East Downtown Council) since November of 2012. Christie has 25 years of experience working for Minneapolis neighborhood organizations. She holds an MA degree in Public Administration from Minnesota State University at Mankato and is in the process of writing her dissertation to finish her Doctorate in Public Administration at Hamline University. Christie is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP), and has completed the National Development Council’s Economic Development Finance Professional Certification Program.
