Good Afternoon Downtown Dining and Retail Partners,
The NCAA Men’s Final Four Basketball Championship is just around the corner and will welcome an estimated 94,000 passionate fans, players, coaches, and visitors to our great city. All weekend long, everyone is invited to attend free/low-cost events and entertainment around downtown.
We are excited to share details of what is taking place over Final Four weekend (Fri, April 5th – Mon, April 8th) to help your business plan for the anticipated increase in pedestrian activity. Attached you will find a detailed schedule of official Final Four events including locations and attendance estimates.
Several thousand volunteers will be assisting visitors all weekend long and we anticipate dining and shopping recommendations with be a frequent request. Knowing that some businesses may adjust hours during large events; Meet Minneapolis, Mpls Regional Chamber of Commerce and Mpls Downtown Improvement District have partnered to collect current hours and information to communicate it with visitors.
