Dear East Town Business Partnership Members:
On February 27, 2025, after thoughtful discussion and strategic evaluation, the East Town Business Partnership (ETBP) Board of Directors voted to recommend the dissolution of the organization. This decision reflects changes in the landscape of business support services in the downtown area, coupled with the reality of insufficient financial resources to continue supporting our mission effectively.
As required by Minnesota State Statute, a formal vote of the membership is necessary to move forward with the dissolution. We invite you to attend our upcoming 2025 Annual Meeting, where we will provide additional context and ask members to vote on this important matter.
Annual Meeting Details:
📅 Date: May 7, 2025
⏰ Time: 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.
📍 Location: Sawatdee
This meeting is an opportunity for the membership to participate in the decision-making process. Your vote is essential to ensure a smooth transition and continued business advocacy in our area.
We are proud of the work ETBP has done to support businesses and strengthen the East Town community over the past 46 years. We are also deeply grateful for your involvement and commitment over the years. We look forward to honoring that legacy and sharing what comes next at the Annual Meeting.
We look forward to your participation on May 7. We want to celebrate how far East Town has come over the past 46 years.
This is a free event, but we are asking people to RSVP via Eventbrite.
Best regards,
Julia Lauwagie, Board President
